Bánh tráng refers to the pieces of rice paper (steamed rice batter that's been sun dried). It is cut up into strips and tossed with a tasty mixture, or trộn in Vietnamese, of ingredients that usually include: dried shrimp, peanuts, Vietnamese coriander, hard boiled quail eggs, shredded green mango, Vietnamese style beef jerky, dried garlic, lime juice, and chili paste. The results are a spicy, tangy mixture with a vast array of textures. This dish is almost exclusively sold on the streets. It's popular with students as it's quick and inexpensive (usually 10,000 dong).
