It's possible to eat a 4 course meal in Vietnam and have sticky rice in every course. My recommended sticky rice dessert is kem xôi, a tasty combination of sticky rice and ice cream. The rice is often made with pandan (you'll know because it's green), and the ice cream is usually coconut flavoured. The two flavours compliment each other perfectly, and the texture of the rice and ice cream combine beautifully. You know you've found a good place for kem xoi when it comes topped with toasted coconut flakes.
